Names in brackets are from the 1988 single "Don't Break My Heart" - Names not in brackets are taken from the 1986 album "Across The Water"
Formed in Wales in 1981, Kooga (also known as Cougar) were Nev's band before SKIN.
Their debut album "Across The Water" was released in 1986. Most of the songs featured on it were written solely by Nev, although two of them were co-written by Nev and Neil Garland. Proof that Nev is not only a great singer but great songwriter and guitarist too.
One highlight of their career was a brief appearance on the TV show "Lovejoy". They also played at the Reading Festival in 1987.
For one gig of theirs at the Marquee they were supported by none other than The Little Angels. Strange to imagine that several years later it would be Nev's band who were the support!!
